It's not often you get to see these so fully exposed: Dabdike Rocks, also known as Star Island.
This crab, which has been in the wars judging by its missing claw, had been caught out by the low tide and was hunkered down waiting for the flood.
His hunkering was so good that he nearly got flattened under a lugworm-digger's boot...
