And while most of Britain was lashed by storms...

a full moon shone on a calm Runswick Bay.
 When the gales next turn northerly it will be a different scene, but yesterday it was odd to be walking on a tranquil beach with ripples of couple of inches high masquerading as waves and odd gusts of breeze making catspaws on the sea. Runswick Bay faces north, while all the weather trouble was blowing from the south.
