Under a rockpool rock.
I'm always reluctant to upend rocks in rockpools, because I would resent a giant crab tearing the roof off my house out of pure curiosity. So I do it infrequently and gently. Here's a random underside community: encrusting pink algae, small beadlet anemones and a few fragments of seaweed, including what looks like it was the holdfast from a small laminaria that has had the stipe torn off. The filamentous green seaweed is Cladophera sp., which is happy making a photosynthetic living even in very shaded areas, which answers my question why it was apparently thriving under a rock.
