Cladophera sp. served on what looks like a bed of pink Ceramium

Peter - I think that what you are calling Ceramium is actually Corralina officianalis. Ceramium is quite feathery and loses its shape out of the water, whereas Corralina has a lot of calcium in its cells and keeps its tree-like shape even when out of the water.
